Joseph Eugene "Gene" Leitman

Leitman, Joseph Eugene Gene of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away in his home on September 10, 2011. Gene was the beloved husband of Cathy Leitman and the dear father (father-in-law) of Randy (Hayley) Leitman, Sheri (Jerry) Huslage, Vicki (Chris) Metze, all of Troy, MO, as well as Mark (Jennifer) Leitman of Knoxville, TN. Gene's most prized possession was his family. He enjoyed spending time with them on their farm in rural Moscow Mills and watching his grandchildren play and grow. He was also an avid reader of the St. Louis PostDispatch and enjoyed sharing the stories of current events with family and friends. Services: Visitation is Tuesday, September 13 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at McCOY-BLOSSOM Funeral Home, Troy, MO (636)528-8244. Funeral Service will be at Sacred Heart Church in Troy, MO on Wednesday, September 14 at 10 a.m. Interment follows at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
