Bahr, Arthur F. 88 of Creve Coeur, MO, Asleep in Jesus, Wed., August 8, 2012 in Chesterfield, MO. Beloved husband for 59 years of Madeline L. Bahr (nee Brandhorst); dear son of the late Arthur G. and Della M. (nee Stopke) Bahr; dear brother-in-law of the late Bernice Dieckmeyer and Vera Rembold; dear uncle of Daniel and Bryan Rembold and the late Tom Dieckmeyer, III; dear great-uncle, great-great-uncle, cousin and friend. Art honorably served our country during World War II in the Navy. He was a retired 35 year employee of McDonnell-Douglas (Boeing). Memorials to his church, Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9733 Olive Boulevard, Olivette, MO 63132, appreciated. Services: Visitation at BAUMANN COLONIAL CHAPEL, 2504 Woodson Road, Overland, on Sunday, August 12 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral Service also at BAUMANN COLONIAL CHAPEL, Monday, August 13, 10:00 am.
