Baisch, Arthur J. To Live is Christ-To Die is Gain Victoriously entered his eternal home on Nov. 28, 2009. Beloved husband of Ruby E. Baisch (nee Eggers) for 62 years; Loving father of Peggy Lukas, Jane (Dave) Muzik, Patti (Glenn) Sprich, John (Judy) Baisch, Bob (Liz) Baisch, Lisa (Craig) Steffens and the late Linda (Bob) Ferleman; devoted grandfather of Jessica, Rachel, Jonathan, Paul, Jordan, Ryan, Lori, Christy, Alex, Cara, Zak, Justin, Sam, Elizabeth, Robert, Gus, Katie, Jenna, Kelsey, Amy, Anna. David, Julia and Luke; devoted great-grandfather to Tommy, Hannah, Taylor, George, and 4 more soon to arrive; dear brother of Lorraine (Bob) Miller and the late Mathilda Baisch, Viola Ellermann and Albert G. Baisch, Jr.; dear brother-in-law to Mildred Bopp, Homer Eggers and the late Vera Fischer; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Born Dec. 29, 1923 in Kansas City, MO to the late Albert G. and Mathilda Baisch (nee Ittner). During W.W.II,Art proudly served his country in the 2nd Marine Division receiving the Bronze Star for valor in battle. In 1952, Art founded Baisch and Skinner Wholesale Florist which remains as a family business today. Art was a faithful member for over 45 years at The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens. In retirement he enjoyed riding the tractor at the farm, traveling and playing golf with his wife and buddy of 62 years, Ruby. Art valued and placed the highest importance on his Faith, Family, Friends and of course Flowers, Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service at The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens, 8749 Watson Rd., Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment Sunset Burial Park. Flowers are graciously appreciated as an expression of love and sympathy. Memorials may be made to The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens-Christ Community Lutheran School Scholarship Fund.
