I think of Byron every day as I fix my hair. Each time it brings a smile to my face as well as a tear and I remember all the stories about family, animals, his garden, how the hummingbirds were fewer this year but the hydrangea was blooming again. We compared notes on a lot of things and talked about our travel (how he loved Mexico!, our frustrations at home and work, our grief over losing loved ones, both human and the furrier kind. There are many memories over the years, since I saw him at least monthly. I will miss him greatly but appreciate the opportunity to experience all his wonderful qualities, and I give thanks that he was in my life at all for the last 20 years.

I was so sad to hear about Byron. He always talked about the fun he had with his family and how much he enjoyed his nephews. He loved his home life, his garden, his dogs, and his relatives. He was a true gentleman.

I HAVE LOST MY HUSBAND AND OLDEST GRAND- SON IN 32 DAYS. BYRON LEE WAS SO UNLIKE ANYONE I HAVE EVER MET. HE LIVED A VERY FULL AND INTERESTING (FOR A LACK OF WORDS) EIGHTY-SEVEN YEARS. I AM VERY PROUD TO SAY I SHARED 38 OF THEM.
BYRON EDWARD'S LIFE HERE ONLY LASTED A SHORT FOURTY-SEVEN YEARS, BUT I WAS SO VERY PROUD OF HIM AND HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS. WHEN HE WAS AROUND YOU KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO GET A GOOD LAUGH. HE WAS A VERY LOVING AND COMPASIONATE PERSON. HE FOUND JOY IN THE SIMPLEST OF THINGS, AND SPREAD JOY AS WELL.
YOU BOTH WILL BE FOREVER MISSED AND LOVED. HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GREAT REUNION WITH OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT HAVE GONE BEFORE YOU. SOMEDAY WE WILL ALL BE TOGETHER AGAIN, UNTIL THEN REST IN PEACE.....

To Byron's family,

Sadly I just heard of Byron's passing and was shocked. I am truly sorry for your loss and know he is in a better place. What a beautiful person. I feel so blessed that I had the opportunity of knowing Byron. He did my hair for years and was the best! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Kathleen

I am truly shocked and saddened to hear of Byron's passing. He was a great guy ... he did my hair for 20 years. Even though I've been away from St. Louis for 10 years, I would always stop by and have Byron do my hair and catch up when I was in St. Louis visiting (just a month ago in fact). Thinking of him and his family ...

It is difficult to believe Byron is gone. He has been my hairdresser and friend for the past 16 years. I loved to buy him Christmas ornaments - the holiday season will always remind me of Byron. Byron was a kind man and always made me laugh. May peace be with his family. Sheryl Breadman

Byron will be sorely missed. He was the only person that I trusted with my hair when I lived in St. Louis; but most of all, he was a very dear friend. May God be with Rollin, his sister Sandy, and the rest of the family.
