Carolyn R. Alexander Obituary
Alexander, Carolyn R. (nee Conner), safely in Jesus' arms on Monday, August 22, 2011. Beloved wife of the late James F. Alexander; dearest mother of Kay L. (Tim) Surwillo and Joni (Sean) Smith; dear grandmother of Neil Balani, Alexander Smith and Erin Smith; only daughter of the late Alma and William (Bill) Conner; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. Carolyn was an eternal optimist, a life long member of Hope U.C.C. Church, served for 72 years in her sorority and worked tirelessly to provide scholarships for college girls. Memorials in Carolyn's name may be made to the Lupus Foundation, Hope U.C.C. Church, or Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation. Services: Visitation at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY, 6464 Chippewa at Watson, Thursday August 25, 2011 from 3-8 P.M., thence in state Friday at Hope U.C.C. Church, 6273 Eichelberger from 9:00 a.m until service time at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
