Obituary Condolences

Roth, Clarence Pete age 94, asleep in Jesus, Friday, December 6, 2013, in his home. Clarence was born in 1919 in Jennings, MO, to William and Anna Roth. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther (nee: Diercks) Roth, and one brother William Roth. He is survived by his sister, Virginia Nichols, his daughters, Margaret (Gary) Cannella, and Diane (David) Eggeman, and his son, Al (Rosanne) Roth; He had five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Clarence was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. He served in the Navy during World War II. Clarence worked for 42 years for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He served on the Jennings Planning Commission for a number of years and was active in leadership roles for St. Jacobi Lutheran Church. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Services: Mr. Roth will be in state at BUCHHOLZ Spanish Lake Mortuary, 1645 Redman Ave., Monday, December 9, from 4 pm to 7 pm. Then in state Tuesday, December 10 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 1011 Theobald St., St. Louis, MO 63147 from 10 am until time of service at 11 am. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
