I knew Darla at the Chesterfield YMCA in the Arthritis Water Exercise class. I was so sorry to hear of her passing as were all the members of the class. My deepest sympathy to you. She was a lovely person.

Hi Clayton, sorry we could not make it to the funeral. We really wanted to be with you guys today. Brenda came up with the idea to have the Charing Cross group over to our house next week for a memorial to Darla. Its the best we could do without being there. I will record it and send you a copy. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Clatyton & Family, I am so very shocked and saddened to hear of Darla's passing. I have been doing Darla's hair for the past 15 years or so. She was a wonderful person and always made me smile. I will miss her so very much. I am sorry I wasn't at the visitation as I had just learned of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Lee Family - I was shocked and so sorry to hear of Darla's untimely passing. As a West Middle colleague, I knew Darla to be a kind,caring,and hard-working professional. Her students were blessed to have her as their teacher. It was an honor to know and work with her over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Darla, who will always be "Mrs. Lee" to me was like a 2nd mother growing up on Charing Cross Ct. I am very sad to hear this news and for the terrible loss for the wonderful Lee family. I will miss not seeing Mrs. Lee and miss knowing that she's not here. Gary Newberry

What a tragic loss all of us are faced with at this time! What a special lady Darla was. She will be missed terribly by her neighbors and all those who knew her. Even in her difficulties she could always put on a smile to make someone else feel at ease. God bless her family with brighter days ahead and may the many fond memories of her be a never-ending inspiration to all those who knew her. Her strength will always be a lighted candle for us. We will miss her very much.
