Don was a good man and taught me a lot about probate and trust law when I worked at Guaranty Trust Co.
A really good man.

Mr. Fahey was one of the kindness people that I ever met. I worked for him for many years while in law school. He would talk with me about respect and valuing your work. I am sorry that I am just learning of his death. I usually checked on him each year around his birthday but last year I was transitioning jobs. He was a jewel.

Don was a good man. I worked for the Guaranty Trust Company for 32 years and Don heldped me a lot when I started working for the Trust Company in 1964. He was our company counsel at that time.
We had a lot of good times. Many great lunches at the MAC and Busch's Grove. I had lunch with him a few years ago. That was the last time I saw. I will always remember him Thanks for all the good you did during your life, Don, Bill Diepenbrock

Hi to all my Fahey cousins. So sorry to hear of Uncle Don's passing. He was a wonderful guy; never saw him angry or upset at anything. He was so caring for Mom when she was getting weaker. Sorry Barb and I can't be up there for the service. She's recouping from surgery.
You all are in our prayers

Mr. Fahey was my Commanding Officer in the U S Coast Guard Reserve prior to my reporting for active duty 55 years ago. Then I served with him on the Mathews-Dickey Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors. A great man.
Thanks, Rich Stegmann

Donald E. Fahey was a dear friend over 39 years. Don had a temendoous trust and belief in the integrity and expertise of Suzsanne Singer and was loyal and generous and supportive over many years. He was a member of The Singer Institute's extended family. This link has been passed on to Don's family. According to Tom Fahey in a recent email:" He loved your organization and was proud to be able to help it along with the Gaylord Foundation".
As a trustee of the Catherine Manley Gaylord Fouondation his financial support has been the backbone of our financial life over decades. What we have accomplished over the last four decades with the residential treatment center, TCA; the GreenTree Recovery Retreat Center and now Senior Connections has been made possible by Donald E. Fahey.
We are deeply saddened by losing our friend, a loyal friend, a man of faith and great character, great intelligence and a warm heart for those who are in need.

To my "other" long lost, but non-the-less beloved family...
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I know it's the end of an era for you and I am sending you all the love, hugs, kisses, strength and prayers I can muster. I miss you ALL more than I can say.
It seems like yesterday that your Dad picked us up from Winterland (?) and took us all to Steak n Shake, WHERE I might add, the determiner of bravery was WHO could drink more of the hot pepper juice. Richard, you are so lucky you got to sit that one out! Anyway, what a guy your Dad was...I adored both of your folks. Lucky me to have been dubbed "the fourth uncle". :-)
I am thinking of all of you and sending you my heart.
