Blase, Reverend Mr. George A. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, December 10, 2007. Beloved husband of Mary Blase (nee Bereswill); dearest father of Thomas (Debrah), Robert, William (Gretchen), John (Kirstin), James (Rosemarie), Teresa Blase, M.D., Jeanne (John) Cichon, Barbara (Edward) Wilmes; grandfather of 30; great-grandfather of three; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Mr. Blase served as Deacon at both St. Casimir and St. Christopher Catholic Churches. George was a perennial Scoutmaster and raised 5 Eagle Scouts among his children. Member of Our Lady of the Rosary Counsel #6971 K of C, 4th Degree, St. Louis General Assembly 565. Honor Guard, Thursday, 7:30 p.m.Services:The Stygar Family of Funeral Service is caring for the Blase family at the STYGAR FLORISSANT CHAPEL, 13980 New Halls Ferry Rd. where services will begin on Friday, December 14 at 9:15 a.m., then process to Holy Name of Jesus Church for 10 a.m. Mass.
