We started playing darts just for fun and then I met Glenn and learned a few things and we went on to win many championship and national titles. He got us in a phone match and we went undeafeated for 6 years, he was there for all of it, you are greatly missed, we have been out of darts for 9 years and just returned and nationals will not be the same with out Glenn there. He is and will always be greatly missed. I am still looking for that tatoo. (inside joke, he will know what it means.) LRS

I learned a lot from Glenn, Not only respect for the game but respect for myself as a player and even picked up some real great practice skills to sharpen my game in Darts. Glenn talked to me as he would a friend, not as a player or partner. I respect his input and will never forget the 2005 Military Cup as one of the biggest highlights of my darting career.

Glenn was a close friend and we made an impact on each other's lives through hobbies. He wanted to learn to brew beer, and I wanted to learn to throw darts. Soon we were both doing both activities together and I have many fond memories of dart tournaments and big brew days at his house in Foristell. I had no idea he passed and we had not talked in a year or so. I found out of his passing when I called to set up a dart league last week and was told of the news by the APPA. I regret not being there for the family in their time of need, and especially to pay my respects. It was nice to know you Glenn, you're a good man and a really fun guy.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to know Glen as well I would have liked to. But I did get to know his awesome kids and wife. All I know is that if I had a family like the one he has I don't think Glenn could have been a happier man. Making darts into what they are around here couldn't have been easy , but having a family full of support could only make it easier. Here's to you Glenn, "It doesn't get any better that this!". We love you and your memories will never fade. - Mike Smith

I have known Glenn since the late 70's and through the 80's. Having just connected with some fellow darter's from that era, I learned of Glenn's passing. John and I traveled to many a tournament run by Glenn, and have trophies and certificates to prove it! Many, many good times. I have some old issues of Dart Magazine, one of which John and Glenn can be seen talking in the background during one of the final matches. He was highly respected, as evidenced by the number of entries in this guest book, always had a kind word to say, had a great laugh, and a sweet smile! The articles he wrote for Cork Magazine entitled Tailfeathers were always informative and encouraging.
John has been gone for close to 8 years now, and when I think back, some of our fondest memories together involved the game of darts.
My deepest sympathy to the family.

Hi Glo....It's Jack Radigan. We know how far back we go and I'm so sorry I haven't written earlier....but I just couldn't. My mom recently died and the misery was too overwhelming. I still have him on my speed e-mail.
It was so long ago you had that little place in Braintree. All you had was a bed. a couch, a stereo, and a dartboard. Played for hours and didn't have a clue. Love you all, Jack and Pam

Glenn helped fill my life during the 80s with friendship, with a love of playing darts, and the confidence of knowing "I can do it." And I could and did. He went out of his way to assist me in all things darts. Happy memories of the Watering Hole, the Rist, Darts Across the Sea, the trip to Northampton, England, and all the darting people who helped make it all possible. I had the great fortune of playing in the Western Mass Dart League, visiting Glenn at 301 Darts in Holyoke, MA and later suppling the products for the Bud Light Dart League. Glenn was more than a business associate, more than the organizer of the league or National Championships, he was always your friend. It never mattered to Glenn if you had won every game you ever played or you hoped to win your first. He cared that you were playing! We did get Darts on TV when Glenn hosted a local Dart Show, I produced, called the "King of the Hill Darts Challenge" back in the Western Mass league days. When I return home from the holiday, I will find a local pub with a dart board, and throw back a few cold ones in his honor! His smile and caring way will never be forgotten. He is missed! Gloria and family, my prayers tonight are for your loss of a husband and father. May God grant you peace, understanding and healing! Mark Brunetti

Dear Remick Family~
I have only just now received the message about Glenn. I express my sorrow to all.
I would like to memorilize a memory I have of Glenn. I was Ex Director of the AMOA National Dart Association in late 70's. In my zeal to obtain dart sales ads I had contacted Glenn for an ad. We hit off fantastic telephonically. Once we met I could see his brilliance, vision and passion for darts. His encompassing both tip darts is/was unparalleled.
But one of my great memories of Glenn was when I was taking my annual trip to Vegas for our dart event. Glenn had coordinated getting a seat right next to me!! Hit spent the entire trip picking my brain and swapping ideas. He was spectacular in his insights to business and darts!
I was honored to have known him and have the fondest memories.
Very sincerely in sorrow,

Glo,
I am sorry to hear about Glenn's passing. We became friends over 30 years ago. Glenn and I were partners and opponents but always friends. There were many good times in the valley and throughout New England. Whether it be a league match, a local tournament at The Watering Hole or a weekend event, Glenn could be counted on for good darts and a good time.
The memories are many but one that stands out is Glenn anchoring our five man Western Mass team against the best teams from Boston and calmly hitting the double to win it all on the stage at Faneuil Hall.

To the Remick Family,
I was shocked to hear about the loss of Glenn. He was a great guy who had a smile for all and his love for darts was infectious! He will be greatly missed by all.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and everyone in the dart community who was ever touched by his love of the game. He had a way to make a person feel that anything was possible if he/she wanted it bad enough and was willing to put in the work.
