Stewart, Helen Ann (nee Scher), age 96 of San Antonio, TX and formerly of Breckenridge Hills, MO, Asleep in Jesus, Monday, June 3, 2013. Beloved mother of Sally (Rev. Larry) Krueger of San Antonio, TX; dear daughter of the late Julius and Sadie (nee Wilbert) Scher; dear daughter-like cousin of the late William T. and Olinda Butler; cherished grandchild of the late John G. and Katherine Scher; dear sister of the late Fredrick Nelson Scher; dear sibling-like cousin of the late William Butler and Betty Walkup; dear sister-in-love of Marcella Butler and Leland Walkup; dearest aunt of William Butler, Delores Waugh, Robert Butler, Linda McCloskey, Bruce Walkup, Michael Walkup, Joseph Stewart, Karen Long, Wanda Steiner and Ken Steiner; dear great-aunt, great-great aunt, friend, cousin and grandma to dozens. Helen was the retired owner and operator of the former Helen's Corner in Breckenridge Hills and a former member of Hope Lutheran Church, St. Ann and a faithful follower of Christ. Services: Visitation at BAUMANN COLONIAL CHAPEL, 2504 Woodson Rd., Overland, Thursday, June 6, 5-8pm and at Hope Lutheran Church, 10701 St. Cosmas Lane, St. Ann, Friday, 9:30am until the Funeral Service at 10:30am.
