Ima Kerner Obituary

Kerner, Ima Jean (nee Bilbrey), at the age of 77 on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Ben Kerner; loving mother of Ben Kerner Jr. and Kyle Kerner; dear grandmother of Macy, Addie, Elle and Reese; loving sister of the late Joe Bilbrey Jr. (the late Lois); dear mother-in-law of Betsy and Lauren; aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many. Services: A Funeral Service will be held at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church, 9450 Clayton Road, Ladue, on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Interment immediately following at New Mount Sinai Cemetery. The family will received friends at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., prior to the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions appreciated to the Humane Society of Missouri, 1201 S. Macklind Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110. A service of LUPTON CHAPEL.

Dear Ben and Kyle,
Your Mother was a special lady. She had a warm, inclusive personality, and she embraced happiness. She has left you with a lifetime of wonderful memories of she and your Dad and your lives together. Bob and I, Greg, Brian and Laura, send our heartfelt sympathy to all of you, and hope that you and your families are blessed with good health and some sense of peace in the difficult time ahead.
