Obituary Condolences

Beckmann, James L., suddenly on Saturday, April 18, 2009, anointed by Holy Mother Church. Beloved and devoted husband of Mary (nee Fischer); gentle and loving father of Anne (Brian) Grote, Kathryn, Peter, Molly (Michael) Clancy, Tony (Anne Marie), and Sarah; proud grandfather of Cade, Trent, and Brock Grote, Luke Beckmann; and in May, James Patrick Clancy; brother of Eva Petersen, Bruce Beckmann and Marelise Beckmann. Jim is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and countless dear friends. Jim graduated from the University of Illinois and worked his entire life in the lawn and garden industry. He was completely devoted to his family, friends, church, and country. He is remembered for his uncommon generosity, integrity and ceaseless concern for the welfare of others. Services: Funeral from the KRIEGSHAUSER WEST Mortuary, 9450 Olive Blvd., Olivette, MO, Friday April 24, 2009, 9:30 am then to Church of the Immacolata, 8900 Clayton Rd. for funeral mass celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send charitable donations to Habitat for Humanity St. Louis, 3763 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis, MO 63108-3311. Visitation Thurs day, April 23, 4-8 pm at KRIEGSHAUSER WEST Mortuary.
