Holton, James O., Jr. James O. Holton, Jr., fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Beloved husband for 68 years of the late Mary Ellen Hunkins Holton; dearest father of Catherine Holton, James O. Holton III (Ann), Richard C. Holton (Carlotta), David H. Holton (Victoria), Mark K. Holton (Nancy), Paul L. Holton, Mary Ellen Holton Chiasson (Steve), Lisa Bouchard Holton Carroll (Mark) and Lila J. Holton Schiel (Bob); dear grandfather to twenty-six and great grandfather to nineteen; dear brother of Brother Carl Holton, Carol Welk (Peter) and the late Marjorie Meador, Olivia Richter and Mary Adelle Minnich; dear brother-in-law of Betty Ann Sims and dear uncle and friend to many. Mr. Holton was a graduate of St. Louis University and served honorably as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Air Corps during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was president of Citizens National Bank of Greater St. Louis, president of the Holton Insurance Agency and a co-founder of Boys Town of Missouri. He was also active in numerous St. Louis and Harbor Springs, Michigan community endeavors. He and his wife have spent the last twenty-two years in their beloved Harbor Springs, Michigan. Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Annunziata in Ladue, 9305 Clayton Road at Cella Road, on Wednesday, March 13 at 10 am. Memorials appreciated to Boys and Girls Town of Missouri, 13160 County Road 3610, St. James, MO 65559.
