My sincere condolences on your loss. I did not know John "Jack" Ward but my last name is Ward and over the last couple weeks I have been researching the Ward family tree. John is the nephew of my grandfather, Leo Francis Ward, who was the brother of Walter Ward (John's father). I am too young to have known Leo or Walter but my father tells me they were remarkable men.

Sorry I couldn't make it to the visitation. I didn't know your dad well, but from the few occasions when I met him I found him to be a jovial, genial gentleman. Losing a parent is always hard. My sympathies to all the Wards and extended family.

Gone from our sight, but never from our heart. Words can not express how much we will miss Jack. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father, brother and grandfather. He was an amazing man and he was not only the kind of man people wanted to be but also the kind of man people would be proud to be.

I had the privilege of being a nurse for Mr Ward. I am blessed to have received some of his big smiles and warm hugs and a few stories. He was very proud of his family and I am blessed our paths crossed. God's peace and my prayers for the Ward Family.
