Tucker, John T., Jr. 51, of Kirkwood, Mo., died suddenly of natural causes on July 16, 2012. He was born in St. Louis on Sept. 26, 1960. He graduated from Christian Brothers College High School in 1979 and went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years, earning the rank of Lance Corporal. He was stationed in Twentynine Palms, Calif., and then MCAS Kaneohe, Hawai'i, with the First Marine Brigade; he was deployed twice to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. John then attended Parks College, where he became a licensed A&P mechanic. He worked for various general aviation service firms in St. Louis until he formed his own business as a self-employed contractor. On April 29, 1988, he married his love Kathy (nee Hatfalvi), and together they had two beautiful daughters, Lindsey and Audrey. In addition, John leaves behind his parents, Lucy (nee George) and John T. Tucker; siblings Patty Meitner (Phil), Tim Tucker, Susan Paterson (Patrick), and Liz Tucker. He was also a beloved nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Those who knew John appreciated how fiercely devoted and loyal he was to those he cared about. John will be most deeply grieved by Kathy, his girls and the many lives he touchedand there were many. He will be missed by all. As John would say, Semper Fi, dude. Services: Visitation on Thurs., July 19, 4-8 p.m., at Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood. Funeral Mass on Fri., July 20, 10 a.m., at St. Anselm (Priory). Private burial. Memorials may be made to Wings of Hope or Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
