Judith Stout Obituary

Stout, Judith Kay (nee Nothum), age 67, of Glencoe, MO, entered God's presence on Thursday, August 9, 2012. She was born December 6, 1944, to the late Andrew and Dorothy Tomich Nothum. Judy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Everett Stout, a son, Clark Everett Stout (Rachel) of Ballwin, MO, and a daughter, Magdalena Cherrier Stout of Ballwin, MO, four grandchildren (Hunter, Ariana, Kailah, and Cole Stout), two sisters, Marilyn Nothum Sauder of Ranson, WV, and Andrea Nothum of St. Charles, MO, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Judy was a graduate of Missouri Baptist School of Nursing, and retired as a Registered Nurse from Missouri Baptist Medical Center. She was the owner of Metaltech, Inc. Services: The family will receive friends at SCHRADER Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Rd., Ballwin, MO from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, August 13 and at the church, Tuesday, August 14 from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. Funeral services for Judith Stout will be held Tuesday, August 14, 11a.m. at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church with the Reverends Jerry Marshall and Eric Sauder officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Camp Penuel, P.O. Box 367, Ironton, MO 63650 or American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108. Judy, It was such a sad thing for us to learn of your illness & we are truly affected by your passing. We have so many great memories not only as the nursing student "foursome" (we had some great laughs & a few tears too) but also through the years even as we each went our separate ways building our lives and raising our families we managed (of course with you at the helm) to make it a tradition to meet for lunch and catch up whenever we were all "back home." Thank you Judy for that! We love you & know you are now "back home" with God. May God bless your family as our prayers go out to them.

To Everett, in the loss of your dear wife, and Maggie, in the great loss of your mother...a trial for you both that only God can heal, and we are praying for you. To Marilyn and Andrea, I am so sorry for your loss... my sister Dottie passed away a couple of years ago, and I empathize with you. Our prayers are with you and your families, as well as your Aunt Marianne and her family. I wish we could have been there for the service today; we have been praying. May God bless you all in a special way and comfort your hearts.

The whole Nothum family were our adopted family in our young years.
I still remember when Judy graduated from Nursing School. She will always be in our memory as a humble sweet God loving women.

I am very saddened by this loss for the Stouts, Sauders, Taylors, and Nothums. Judy will be greatly missed by all, friends & family. I wish that I could be present for the funeral, but I am glad that at least I had a brief time with Judy on Saturday & Sunday before she passed away. She seemed to have kept her engaging personality up to the last, which was an amazing thing in light of her physical struggle. I will never forget Judy's ever-gracious example that she has left for all of us to follow.

I only shared a small amount of time with Judy at Andrew and Katie's wedding in Kansas City last fall but her and husband were incredibly sweet and I really enjoyed the conversations I had with them. My heart goes out to the family.
