Gossage, Louise Emrie was called to heaven on July 8, 2013. She enjoyed a wonderful 93 years of life. She was married to the late Wilbur Gossage and daughter of the late Harry and Jessie (nee Clem) Emrie. She is survived by her four children, Sharon Potter, BJ Strassburger (Charlie), Judy Quigley (Bob), and Bruce Gossage (Stacy); Seven grandchildren - Sheryl Lock (Andy), David Potter, Linda Strassburger (Dave Gardin), Greg Jacobs, John Jacobs, the late Matthew Quigley and Christopher Meuther; four great-grandchildren, Emily, Leslie and Andy Lock and Grace Gardin; two sisters, Jean Casteel and Thelma Bergfeld; one brother, Bill Emrie. She was predeceased by one brother, Harry Emrie. She was a dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. She was a 1940 graduate of DePaul School of Nursing and donated her body to Washington University School of Medicine. It was a pleasure and privilege to be her family. Her memory will be in our hearts forever. Services: A remembrance gathering to share stories and celebrate our mother's life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at The Links at Dardenne, 7000 Brassel Dr., O'Fallon, MO 63368.
