Panu, Mark David Passed quietly and peacefully the morning of Friday, November 9, 2012 following an almost 7 year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family in their St. Louis home. He is survived by his wife Laurie of 21 years, his son Alex and his daughter Meghan. Mark has one sister Debra Hartman of St. Louis, and his nephews Michael and Tony. He is preceded in death by his parents Gus and Billie Jean Panu of St. Louis. He was the loved son-in-law of Ron and Sara Beaver. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His quick wit and never ending sense of humor made Mark a friend of many. Mark spent the majority of his adult life working as a footwear Account Executive; 22 years with Nike and the past 4 years with Columbia Sporting Goods. He was recently honored as a President Club Member with Columbia. He loved his career and will always be remembered for the friendships he fostered with co-workers and the accounts he covered. Services: Visitation will be held at the KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, November 13, 3-8 p.m. On Wednesday, November 14 the funeral will process at 11 a.m. to St. Matthew Cemetery. There will be a celebration of Mark's Life at the Crossing Church, 114 North Eatherton Rd. Chesterfield, MO. 63005 at 12:30 p.m. following the burial. Contributions to Live Strong appreciated.
