Can't believe it has been seven years since your passing. I have thought of you many times over the years with fond memories. Memories of you and your children and how they looked up to you. I wish we hadn't lost touch. I will remember you always.

I feel that I have lost a big sister and best friend she was the best ever. I pray for Sonjah and Miles and I hope that they will remember how much she loved them they were her all. Im sad to have lost close contact with Melony in the last 7 months and im distraught to hear of such horrible news and so late . She was always a bundle of joy when around . And when I was sad we would cry together. She was a special person to me and she will never be forgotten. To her family, stay strong for shes watching us all and its what she would want. Always live out the great memories she gave us all. Sonjah and Miles I love u guys and I want u to never forget how much she loved you both and would do anything to see you guys smile. Call me if u ever need anything 314-330-2429 and always look after each other I love you guys ???

I am so saddened to hear that Melony has passed. My heart goes out to Sonjah, Miles and the rest of Melony's family. We worked together at Washington University. At the time, Melony was a single-parent who worked full-time and took night classes. It was no easy task. She had such tenacity. I regret having lost contact with her. I wish peace to all the family.

Trusting the pain will not be so great you are unable to handle it--knew her when I lived in Florissant(mother of Lora Clark)-what a sweet person, and know I will see her in heaven.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Melony. We were very good friends. We met at Washington University when we worked in the same office. I watched Sonya and Miles many times at her place and at mine. I haven't seen them in years. Lost touch when we both changed jobs. I wish I had looked harder for her, but I actually thought she had left town. Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with Sonya and Miles and the rest of her family. I know this time will be hard, but the happy memories will help heal the wounds.

dear Barnett Family, I am in shock of this news. I was friends with Melony in high school and as adults we both chose to name our sons after the late Miles Rutlin. We lived in U-city near each other and were both friends with Karl Kaltenthauler who cared for her and the kids deeply. I lost touvh these last couple of years. This should not have happened to such a lovely girl. I send a hug to her kids and they can call me anytime. My number is #!$-70709908. Please pass this on to Sonya. much love Rommie

Doug and I were so sorry to hear about Melanie. I have such fond memories of her with my children. I have one picture in my mind of her putting my daughter on her bike when Jen was only a year or two and pushing her on the sidewalk. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.

Melony was a great best friend to my little sister when we were younger. She was like part of our family. She was a glowing light! I will miss her but hope she is at peace. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of the family.

Dear Family, I am so sad and upset to hear this terrible news. Melony and I were best friends growing up, as a lot of you know, for a very long time!! She was like another sister in our household. Even though we moved apart, I always had the BEST memories of us together. We could catch back up in no time and start up where we left off years before.
Melony was such a smart, witty, fun person, I hope Sonya and Miles remember her with those thought in mind. She was a great friend!!!
I love you Mel, Mitzi Soto
