To a man who was always willing to lend a hand, set aside his own projects, in order to lessen the load on others. A man with a code of honor, and a pair of eyes that penetrated all armor. Ron, I will never forget your sagacious insights and "Slaughterisms", your bulls-eyes and trip 20s, your Socratic method of questioning to help others learn how to think for themselves, crossword puzzles over pots of Safari coffee, finger-plucked green olives (right out the jar); your polymathic depths of knowledge; or, the time you sawed and constructed me a boxed pair car speakers (way too big for that little "Tercelerator" hatchback) -- but they sounded awesome! This world is sadder place without your presence, but the gifts you've given us live on -- as do you, in our hearts and souls and through our actions and our love, and every bulls eye and trip 20 I ever throw again.

I'm sure Ron is well-remembered by many of his classmates at Normandy High who, like myself, appreciated the friendly smile he had for everyone. My sympathies to his family and friends.
