Devoted husband of 70 years to Anita Frances Beal (nee Lisbona); wonderful and loving father of Constance Lohr and Carmen (Tom) Hoeber; grandfather of Stacey (Bob) Graves, Sabrina Lohr, Brittani (Justin) Backsmeyer, Blake Hoeber and the late Jason Lohr; great-grandfather of Wilson, Campbell, Harper and Walker Graves & Hudsen and Henley Backsmeyer; dear brother of Katherine Finkle and the late Margaret Clark, Sally Lewis & Harriett. Cherished friends, Joseph French and Joseph McCormick. Roy was a prominent builder in the St. Louis area for more than 40 years. He was a self made man who was not afraid of hard work, and his business, R. W. Beal & Company was known for its integrety and quality workmanship. He cared about people and was loved by those who knew him. He has left an impressive legacy all across the St. Louis area where his houses still stand tall and sturdy and have brought joy to so many families. Services: A private celebration service will be held by Roy's immediate family in his memory at St. Peters Episcopal Church.
