I was fortunate enough to live in the neighborhood right above Ebsworth Park and have many memories of visiting Russell as a child with my neighborhood friends. He almost always would let us come inside and play with Angel, marvel over the magical Frank Lloyd Wright house and admire his artwork. I myself was a young aspiring artist and cherish a letter he wrote me about pursuing my talent and passion. I don´t think I knew it at the time, but in hindsight Russell was such a force in my life growing up and I am forever grateful for his kindness and generosity. Even then, I knew he was a special person. I think of him often and cherish my memories in that beautiful place.

We have known Russell for over a decade and enjoyed his wit and creativity. We were lucky to share several evenings with him listening to his stories about Ruth, the adventure of building their Frank Lloyd Wright home and, of course, the antics and love of Angel.
We will truly miss you, Russell.............

I work in the dietary department at Garden View Care Center where Russell lived. I used to talk to Russell everyday and seeing him made my day a little better. He could always make me smile and I loved the conversations we used to have. Going to work just isn't the same anymore without seeing him there. I'm going to miss you Russell.

Russell was a very special friend, and truly young at heart. We enjoyed special events and outings together, fun activities as they came along. I received with glee for many years his greeting cards which he made for each holiday of the year. He is a treasure, and he will be missed. God bless you many times over, Russell.
