Terry, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have thought of you and Scott often (fondly) over the years. I remember his great smile (with and without his tooth:). I also remember when you met each other and you knew that he was going to be "the boy you would marry". Please know that you and your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. If you ever need an old friend to draw strength from, I am here. Love, Kim

Oh my goodness, I can't believe this. I didn't even know Scott was sick. I'll fondly remember the times we spent working together at Cat and the evening we spent in my kitchen drinking single malt scotch. I'm devastated to hear this news. Terry, if there is anything Ellen and I can do, please let us know. Our prayers and sympathy are with you and the kids.

Having worked with Scott on some legal matters several years ago, I can attest to his sophistication, savvy and -- most memorably -- his deliciously irreverent sense of humor. He was most amused when kidding about himself! Scott's rise as a corporate superstar never obscured his genuine warmth and modesty, which shone through as brightly as his talent. Deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.

Scott was a dear friend of mine for close to twenty years. He was like a brother to me. Plenty of golfing (Scott well -- me poorly), dinner and drinks at Greg's house, sailing on Steve's boat. New year's eve and Independence day weekends -- so much laughter. Scott embodied optimism! He loved Terry, Jack and Audrey so much. We're all going to miss him.
