The holidays are here and without you. I am already missing our yearly trek to Olive Garden with Liz. Surely there were a lot of cold noses, wagging tails and tossing manes waiting for you and making you laugh. Peace Sheila, peace!

Sheila and I shared only brief moments, but she made me feel as if we had known each other forever. She had a very deep, dear, caring spirit. You are so greatly missed.

My St. Louis Mom, and Cole's Noni. I'm still in disbelief that someone can disappear from our life so quickly. I am thankful for the time we had and trying to not be bitter for the time we will never have. Thank you for loving us, i am so lucky to have had you as my second Mom.

Dear Sheila, you were such a wonderful person whom I looked forward to seeing at family function and in the old days the many horse shows we competed in. I know you are up there smiling at all of your friends. It was a pleasure knowing you. Thank you, Mimi Koon

Sheila, when I first started dating your sister you were only four years old. That was sixty three years ago. I remember so many happy times and memories we had together through the years. I'll miss you and I'll always love you.

Well Cuz, I never thought you would beat me out of here. I remember so well our many Saturday mornings watching Roy Rogers and all the TV westerns, with your Fort Apache set up on the floor in front of us, then later playing cowboys and making that great old dog Boots mush up and down Carson Road. In our teen years we spent summers at Suntan Beach; we rode horses year-round at Aces Stables and out on Dunn Rd. I always thought of you as a buddy; don't think I realized you were a girl till our teens. Guess it was because you were always winning and I was too busy trying to catch up. Going to miss you kid. Wish we had made more time to visit and reminisce. Say hello to Uncle Wally, your Mom and Grandma Molly for me -- love and miss you all.

Cousin Sheila - You were my childhood friend and my bridesmaid 37 years ago - and with all the piano recitals and birthday parties we shared - I NEVER knew your middle name was Ruth. After your mother of course. You laughed when I named my daughter Rebecca Ruth, also after your mother but kept your secret well hidden. I bet your are laughing at me now knowing that I finally found out your middle name. I will always have the memories of growing up that we shared. Rest in Peace, cousin.

May Shelia receive the rich heavenly rewards she so much deserves. Shelia was a wonderful neighbor and friend and her spirit will live on among her friends and neighbors here in Sackston Woods.
