13 years later and it still seems like yesterday. The grief has eased some but the emptiness still remains the same. So many times (everyday) I have thought - what would Dad say or what would Dad do or what would Dad think about this? I then hear your voice with the guidance I am searching for at that moment. The world has changed so much in the last 13 years. I often wonder how you would be reacting to all of the changes. We are all aging gracefully. I know you have been with those beautiful granddaughters of yours throughout their journey into adulthood, and are proud of the women they have become. Kim and I lean on the wisdom and words that you instilled in us and we use what we call "Tregoisms" on a regular basis. Dad, I miss you every minute of everyday. You are always in my heart and mind. I am hoping that all of our (your) family and friends that have since passed, have reunited with you and that you are all together celebrating eternal life. Until we meet again Dad, I love you.

We still miss Tim. He was a presence in the neighborhood and everyone like him. He always offered to help his neighbors, especially cleaning the snow off the sidewalks.
Thank you and Miss you, Tim

It's hard not to think about Tim. He left such an impact on everyone. When I pass he and Joyce's home, I see the bird houses in the trees and he so enjoyed painting and they are still there, I think of Tim. In the winter when snow is on the sidewalks, I see Tim with his snowblower clearing our sidewalks. But most of all, we miss his infectious laughter. We also sometimes talk about the cruise we went on together and how much our sides hurt we laughed so much on that trip. You left your family and friends too soon, but left a little part of you with all who knew you.

He was a great friend and neighbor. When we first moved into the neighborhood, the fun times we had with Tim and Joyce will always be remembered. He was a funny guy to be around. The baseball team was just one of the fond memories we have with our neighbors. Tim will be missed. He is Safely Home now.

He will be missed by family, friends, neighbors, and the entire city of Fenton.

In this life you only come across a few people who you can call a true friend. Tim was one of those persons. He was full of laughter, kindness, and love. After we moved from Fenton, Jeff and I always thought of all the good times we had with the Trego's. Garage "parties" were always fun. Tim will be truely missed by everyone who knew him. Joyce, Tracy and Kim are all very strong women who will get through his passing simply by the love they all have for each other. Love, Jeff and Nancy

I've known Tracy for some time but only met her father Tim, and the rest of the Trego family, just before Tim became ill. I was the "new" guy injected into some family holiday events, but I never felt that way at all. Tim and his wonderful family made me feel like I had been there before and were wondering where I had been. I'm saddened that only knew him for a short while, but am glad that I had the opportunity to meet him and see the impact he had on others. What a great family, and I'm proud to know them all and consider them friends.

Joyce, Tracey and Kim, God blessed with you with a wonderful person to be a husband and father. As a neighbor, John and I couldn't have asked for a nicer and more giving person to live close to. His thoughtfulness, concerns and funny stories will be missed everyday in our little corner of the world.

Joyce, Tracy, Kim,
Your dad was one of a kind! He took a liking to me when he found out that I was fellow Fentonian(?)which seems soo many years ago. I will miss his sense of humor the most because when he said something to make you laugh it normally was just him speaking his mind. There never was a question on where he stood with any issue. He was honest to everyone and had a high degree of integrity. Tim was my friend and I consider my self a better man for knowing him.

What a joy to have know Mr. T for 27 years of my life. Boy, he and my Dad have a lot of the same daughter dating "rules" ... the no return policy :) My boys loved Mr. T and wanted to be just like him with their coffee cups! Mr. T always made them feel special. We will miss seeing him hanging out in the garage and cutting the lawn. We're always here if you need anything Joyce, Kim and Tracy.

Love You Forever, T

May 26, 2011

Dad,
I just wanted to let you know, there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you at least 20 times a day. I cherish the "Tregoisms", great memories and life lessons you were able to leave with me. I am pretty sure that you have the grass as green as it can be, and the flowers are all in full bloom. I hope you have been able to re-acquaint with everyone that had gone on before you and even more recently. You are forever in my heart and mind, until we see each other again.

May 4, 2011

Joyce, I couldn't begin to count all the times Tim made me laugh. I consider him in the "best friend" catagory. Not only was he a true friend but a very loyal one as well. The other thing you could count on with Tim was that he always told the truth and a man of great character. I love him like a brother and he will be missed!!! "Tommy Todd"

May 4, 2011

Our deepest heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Tim. May God bless you and we pray that time will heal you all. Tim will never be forgotten by our family.

Regardless of the situation, he was always the same decent gentleman with a "can-do" attitude and a friendly word to the troops. Joyce, Tracy and Kim: I don't need to tell you this: Your Dad was an amazing guy. He was not known for beating around the bush and you always knew where he stood on any topic and where you stood with him. That's what I respected most about Tim. I'm going to continue to use many of the "lines" he taught me and will always give him credit for them. Our community has lost a decent man. He will never be forgotten! Dad, you were the best Father and mentor a daughter could ask for. You taught me a whole lot in the short amount of time you were here with us. I will miss you, everyday. However, according to a lot of people I know, I possess alot of tendencies that you had. I love you dearly and I know that you are up in heaven with all of my Grandparents. Missing you, until we meet again.
