Babinski, Violet A. (nee Kostecki), 88, of Fairview Heights, IL, born February 14, 1920, in St. Louis, MO, died on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Four Fountains Convalescent Center. Mrs. Babinski was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. 'Jeff' Babinski; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her three sons, Dave Babinski of Edwardsville, IL, Andrew (Denise) Babinski of Manchester, MO and Marty (Cathy) Babinski of Wake Forrest, NC; her eight grandchildren, Beth (Ryan) Glascock, Mike, Chloe and Nicholas Babinski, Bryan, Bruce, Bryce, and Ben Woods; four great grandchildren, Samantha Glascock, Matthew, Joseph and Kiley Woods. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at KASSLY Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL. A prayer service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, IL with Father Ray Schultz officiating. Interment will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
