We will miss you terribly, but glad you are no longer in pain. Your short courageous battle has inspired us all. Thank you for being such a great dad. I went to St. Cecilia's grade school with Virgil, he was a fun guy when we were young he was always being silly with everyone. At our 50th grade school reunion last year it was great to see him again, he had a great time with all of us, it was as if were in kids again. Love Dale Mary Dallas

Mike / Megs, so very sorry that your father / in-law has passed. I searched my email in memoriam for some of the messages and good Republican emails that you passed along from him. I used to love getting those. They made me smile. He is missed.

Thanks for taking me into the family and being the best father-in-law I could ask for. I'll always cherish the many golf outings we had, and will think of you with every provisional I take from now on. Your decision to fight gave you a month to know your grandaughter, which I am forever grateful. Hanley Rose will know her grandpa through all the great memories we have. Love ya Virg.
