Emily, Family, and Friends:
It has been a long time since seeing you and Wendell. I guess the last time was at First Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green when my Sister and I presented a concert for Reverand Mitchell. I remember playing in band with Wendell. I did invite him to play in the Alumni Band in 2005 with Mr. Stratmann conducting. Remember all those good times during your life together. Our blessings and prayers go out to you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I always seemed to end up on Wendell's crew during Habitat builds. He had a way of making everyone feel special and was patient with all of us no matter how skilled (or unskilled) we were. He will be missed by all!

Dear Emily and family I was very sad when Shirley called and notified me of the death of your beloved Wendell. Know that these next days and weeks will be difficult ones sustained only by the good memories. As you grieve let those memories be the legacy of his life and influence he had with all of you.

Mr. Holman was a great teacher and respected by many students at Brentwood High School in the late 70's early 80's. We all still tell many stories of being in his class. Fond memories we will always cherish. Thank you Mr. Holman. Diana Dodson McDonough class of '82
