We were married by Father Starmann in 1984 at St. Anthonys Parish in Camdenton Missouri. He was a wonderful friend to us and my late parents, Bob and Flo Dube'. We will miss him and never forget him. Denise and Brian Hanson

Father Starmann was great - he even tried to teach us Spanish! I really enjoyed and admired him in my grade school years at Wien.

Father Starmann officiated at our marriage 34 years ago in Hermitage, Missouri at St. Bernadette's Church. My parents, Ed and Catherine Albers, truly enjoyed and appreciated his dedication to their Catholic Community. Rest in Peace.

Although I was no longer living in Wien at the time he was pastor, I express my condolence to the family of Father Starmann. I recall him as a priest of great Catholic faith and a desire for a greater understanding between the major Christian churches of other beliefs. To accomplish that he was not only the pastor of St. Mary's, but the founder of the Brotherhood of Christian Unity, which consisted of several ministers and a lay person. It was disbanded later by notification of the Vatican. I pray for Father Starmann's Heavenly eternal rest.

Fr. Joseph Starmann was truly a man of God. As pastor of St. Mary's of the Angels many years ago, I witnessed a servant- shepherd. He was a man of strength, compassion, and vision. His intellect and wit were precious gifts that he freely shared with all around him. May he rest in peace and comfort in the presence of our Lord forever. Thank you Fr. Starmann. You had a profound influence on my life.

What an incredible man! Devout and supremely intelligent. In high school I strongly considered going to seminary because of my admiration for him. He officiated at our marriage 25 years ago at St. Anthony's parish in Camdenton, Missouri. May he find comfort in the Lord's arms.
