Sanders Sr., James Dean who was loved by many, went home to the Lord March 19, 2014. Born on May 1, 1938 in Robertson, Missouri, he lived most of his adult life in Maryland Heights, and retired in Ozark after a career in Full Service Stations and Facilities Management at McDonnell Douglas /Boeing Aircraft. Survived by: Wife, Nora Borja Sanders; Children: James Dean, John William, Joseph Robert, Jacqueline (Michael) Ritchey, Jerome (Heidi) Sanders; Sherwin and Reynel (Michelle) Walden and Sherri Sanders. Grandchildren: Matthew Dean and Aaron Sanders, Jacob James Ritchey. Siblings; Mary Stevens, Saundra Waddell, Don Sanders, Ed Sanders and Shirley Sanders. Preceded in death: Parents Robert Jack and Evelyn (Henderson) Sanders; wife Janet Wasson Sanders, Brothers Robert and Bill Sanders, and special inlaws and friends. Jimbo, Jim, Uncle Gang was passionate about music, singing, poetry, history, philanthropy, travel and boxing. Services: Memorial Services: Friday, March 21, 2014 Visitation 5pm-until Service time 7pm: Greenlawn Funeral Home 3540 E. Seminole-Springfield, MO. 65809 Saturday, March 22, 2014: Visitation will be from noon until service time at 1:00 PM at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church 907 Jungermann Rd. St. Peters, MO 63376.
