Burns, Kathleen Albertson Kathleen Albertson Burns, baptized into the Hope of Christ's Resurrection on Friday, July 18, 2014. She was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada and later the family moved to Kingston, Ontario. In the the 1940's she then moved to St. Louis. Beloved wife for 56 years of the late Francis J. Burns, M.D.; dear mother of Patricia J. Burns, A. Maureen Dwyer (Robert), Michael F. Burns, M.D. (Gloria), Margaret A. Garvin (Charles), Jane K. Reynolds (Sherman) and Elizabeth R. Erker; dearly beloved grandmother of Megan, Timothy, Elizabeth, Brian and Molly Dwyer of Erie, Pennsylvania, Kristen, Erin , Clare and John Francis Burns, Michael and Louis Garvin, Molly, Emily, Sheila, Louise, Rose and Sherman F. Reynolds, Jr. of Glenview, Illinois; Matthew, Libby, Maria and Anna Erker; step-grandmother of Allison, Kelly and Brooke Promaroli; great-grandmother of Davian and Quinn Dwyer; dear sister of Irvin Albertson of Kingston, Ontario. The family wishes to thank her caregivers Valura Massey and Alicia Dillon for their kind and compassionate care given to Mrs. Burns. Services: The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clayton, Meramec and Maryland, on Tuesday, July 22 at 10 a.m. Private Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Louis University School of Medicine, Attention Reinert Endowed Medical Scholarship, 221 N. Grand, DuBourg Hall, Room 319, St. Louis, MO 63103; Catholic Charities; Eugene Field House and Toy Museum or to St. Louis University Hospital, School of Nursing (Public Health Nursing).
