Paul Q. Olschner Obituary
Olschner, Paul Q. 86, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away at 9:41 am, Friday, April 16, 2010 at his daughter's home in Chester, Illinois. Paul was born to the late Clarence E. and Gertrude J. (nee Jones) Olschner, Sr. on June 2, 1923 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Paul married Rena Wolfe on September 3, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; she survives. He had been an Electrical Engineer for Westinghouse in St. Louis, MO for 40 years. Paul was a member of the M.S.P.E. and was Engineer of the Year in 1979. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Survivors: wife Rena Olschner Chester, IL; 4 children Susan (Phil) Downer Signal Mountain, TN, Paula (Bob) Gilbert Plymouth, MI, Tom (Robin) Olschner Arvada, CO, Mary (Roy) Wunderlich Chester, IL; dear grandfather of 21 and dear great-grandfather of 4. Preceded in death by: parents; 1 brother - Clarence E. Olschner, Jr., 1 sister - Gertrude J. Olschner and 1 great granddaughter Alayna Gilbert Services: Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2010, First Evangelical Free Church 1375 Carmen Road, St. Louis, MO. Officiating: Rev.
