Hicks, Paige Victoria of Chesterfield, MO, was fatally struck in South Dakota while biking across the country with the Bike and Build charity to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. She passed away on July 20, 2010. Paige was born on June 5, 1989 at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, MO. She grew up in Chesterfield and attended Marquette High School, where she ran cross-country and track while excelling academically. After graduation, Paige enrolled at Brown University, where she studied many things. She enjoyed playing Ultimate Frisbee at the collegiate level and had been selected to be the team's captain for the coming year. For the past two summers, Paige rode across the country with Bike and Build, building houses and raising money to support Habitat for Humanity. A loving sister and daughter, Paige is survived by her parents Fred and Dawn, as well as her sisters, Mallory and Haley. Paige Hicks was a brilliant and talented young woman with a special joy for life, and she will be missed deeply by her family and friends. Services: Paige's family will be receiving visitors at KRIEGSHAUSER WEST Funeral Home, located at 9450 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO, 63132, on Sunday, July 25 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 26 at 2:30pm at Marquette High School Commons, located at 2351 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paige may be made either to Bike and Build by visiting their website at www.bikeandbuild.org/cms, or to Habitat for Humanity International online through Habitat's Gifts from the Heart program.
