Simora, Stephen F. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sat., March 9, 2013 at 3:22pm. Beloved husband for 55 years of Virginia L. Simora (nee Hardin); loving father of Robert L. (Melinda), Stephen M. (Theresa) and Timothy W. (Anne) Simora; dear grandfather of Nichole (Jonathon) Cordray, Kaylyn Kloepper, Shawn and Shane Woods, Cheyenne and Charlene Simora, John Johnson, Jessica and Stefan Simora; dear great-grandfather of Jonathon, Madison and Carter Cordray; dear brother of Helen Foshe and the late Mary Brown; dear uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend. Mr. Simora was a proud graduate of St. Mary's High School. He served his community for nearly 30 years in law enforcement. Twenty years with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, five years with St. Louis University Campus Police and four years with the Bridgeton Terrace Police Department. He also served his state and country in the Missouri National Guard and U.S. Army earning the rank of Sergeant First Class. A former member of the Knights of Columbus. His family wishes to thank the staff of West County Care Center for their loving care. Services: Prayer service at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Wed., March 13, 9:45am, then to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church for 11am Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to BJC Hospice, or a appreciated. Visitation Tues., 1-9pm.
