Stergos, Adelheid A. Addie (nee Feldmann), resting in peace after years of living with the pain and limitations of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. But, those conditions did not define her; her faith, intelligence and love of her family did. Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, she died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at age 83. Greatly loved wife of John Stergos for 61 years. Loving mother of Mary Kay Stergos, John (Debbie) Stergos, Christina Stergos, Margaret (Adam) Bush, Ellen (Walt) Barron and Matthew Stergos. Cherished grandma of Justine (Thomas Langley) Veit, Hilary Veit, Zachary Stergos, Amanda (Sam) Williams, Addison Bush, Ruby Barron, Charlie Stergos and Finn Stergos. Wonderful great-grandma to Peter Langley. Adelheid is survived by dearest sister-in-law Catherine Dokos. She is also survived by sister-in-law Genevieve Pappas and numerous nieces and nephews and their families from the St. Louis area to the Bowling Green/St. Clement area, from Washington, to Iowa, to North Carolina and many towns in between. She is also survived by many friends, all treasured and appreciated. Services: Funeral Mass at St. Norbert Catholic Church, 16455 New Halls Ferry Rd, Florissant, on Monday, April 29, 2013, 10am, with luncheon to follow. Internment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation at Hutchens, 675 Graham Rd, Florissant, on Sunday, April 28, 2013, 4pm-8pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) or Little Sisters of the Poor St. Louis would be appreciated.
