Bondurick, Walter John 87, formerly of Richwoods, born July 15, 1925 in DeSoto and entered into rest on July 6, 2013 in Ballwin, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters and their spouses: Ella (Bob) Suiter and Lena (Mills) Horton; son, Terry Bondurick, daughter, Carol McNamara, son-in-law, Bobby Overturf, as well as many friends; and his two dogs, Hershey 1 and Hershey 2. He is survived by his wife of 66 Years, Rose Marie Bondurick, daughters, Jill Firebaugh, Jan (Andy Foulds) Kreienkamp, Jackie (Chris) Zengel; grandchildren: Stephanie, Mac, Shawn, Billy, Kyle, Terri, Jessi and Cayley; and he was a great grandfather of six. He also leaves behind his bird, Bo. Mr. Bondurick was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight Local 600. He served for three years in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer during World War II and earned Five Battle Stars, the Victory Medal and a Unit Presidential Citation. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the VFW. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Louis Veterans Home, 10600 Lewis & Clark, St. Louis, MO 63156 Services: Father Liss officiating Graveside service, 11:00am, Friday, July 12, 2013 at Horine Cemetery, Richwoods, Missouri. Memorial service, 11:00am, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at VFW Post 6274, Ballwin, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto Chapel.
