Lodge, Anja IJda (nee Vogel) died peacefully at home on Monday, July 22nd, surrounded by her family. Anja was born February 19, 1948 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. She was the wife for over 40 years of Richard W. Lodge, mother of Elisabeth (Pete) Belcastro, Douglas (Chrissy) Lodge and Matthew (Katie) Lodge; Oma of Jacob and Nathan Lodge and Alex and Sofia Belcastro; sister, sisterin-law, aunt, great-aunt and dear friend. Anja was an ATA-certified EnglishDutch translator. She was active in the Netherlands Society of St. Louis, the Scottish St Andrew Society of Greater St. Louis, St. Louis Scottish Games, the Model T Ford Club and the Thinking Women's Book Group, among others. In everything she did, she was the epitome of if you need something done, ask a busy person to do it. Services: Memorial service at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road in Kirkwood at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3rd. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service.
