Segbers, Colleen Beth passed away on Monday Sept. 22, 2014. The Cherished mother of Gwenyth Pettitt, wife of Todd Pettitt; daughter of Patricia Clarke and Thomas J. Segbers; loving sister of Lindsay Segbers, Kevin Segbers and Theresa (Henry) Dunphy. Dear granddaughter of Richard and Mary Segbers and Jack and the late Lea Clarke; Daughter-in-law of Pam and Doug Reasons and Ron Pettitt; sister-in-law of Jene Reasons. Colleen leaves to cherish in her memory her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who will greatly miss her. Colleen had GUSTO for life and lived her life to the fullest. She loved animals and over the years rescued many of the ones she came across. Services: A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa St., St. Louis, MO from 1:00PM-5:00 PM. To the family, I'm sorry you have lost your Colleen to death. May you find comfort in the God of all comfort and his promises to end sorrow, pain and death forever. Hold on to the hope of seeing dear Colleen again and the chance to embrace her again. This has brought me comfort over the years and given me hope. Colleen was just 2 years younger than me and that's why this really broke my heart when I saw her memorial. I send my love to you and sincere sympathy. My hope and prayer is that Gwen finds solace in precious memories of her mom and peace of mind.

I had only met Colleen through our working relationship, as she would come into the St. Louis City License Collector's Office to take care of her companies business. Colleen always had a smile on her face. She came into our office with her daughter a week before her tragic accident; you could see the love she had for her daughter.

My heart breaks at this news. May Colleen rest in peace in the blessed assurance, that her daughter is surrounded by her love and by the love of her family.
