Joseph E. "Mike" Klemencic

Klemencic, Joseph E. "Mike" 84, of Aurora passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was born December 18, 1928 in Aurora, the son of Joseph and Mary Klemencic. Mike was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Aurora. He was a retired sheet metal worker. Mike loved bowling and is a member of the Aurora Bowling Hall of Fame, inducted in 1991. He was a member of The Wild Rose Social Club, Aurora Turner Club and The Phoenix Club. Survivors include his five children, Michael (Pamela) Klemencic, Mark Klemencic, Joseph (Cathy) Klemencic, Karla (John) Johnson and Susan Klemencic; grandchildren, Kara (Bryan) Blaha, Michael (Kelly) Klemencic, Steven (Kristle) Klemencic, David Klemencic, Joseph Klemencic, Ethan Klemencic, Erin Klemencic, John Johnson, and Amie (Baldemar) Flores; six great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Klemencic) DeKing; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Klemencic; and his wife, Elaine "Sis" Klemencic. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 9:30 am from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY to St. Joseph Church at 10:00 am. Fr. Jerome Leake will officiate with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
