Carl Matthew "Matt" Andrepont, 49, passed away August 19, 2013 in his residence.
Matt enjoyed family gatherings, barbeques and was a "master crawfish boiler."
Matt was a faithful Catholic, who deepened his faith by attending Cursillo in Prairie Ronde. He supported LSU Football and Dallas Cowboys even though his sisters protested his support for the Cowboys. Matt truly treasured his time with his daughters.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberlie Hall Andrepont of Sulphur; daughters, Laiken Nicole and Fallon Paige Andrepont, both of Sulphur; mother, Audrey Brasseaux Andrepont Fontenot and step-father, Roy Fontenot of Iowa; sisters, Judy Ann Andrepont and husband, Bret Hoffpauir of Holmwood, Pamela Andrepont Graham of Sulphur and Priscilla Andrepont and husband, Craig Streams of DeQuincy; Godchildren, Kyle Rainwater, Blair Allain, Amanda Long and Briana Staggs.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leander and brother, Tony Andrepont.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013, at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Father Ernest Corriveau will officiate.
Visitation will begin Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the Cursillo rosary at 6 p.m. at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday at 8 a.m. until service time.
