Betty was the most caring and giving person's I ever met.
We met the autumn of 1965. I was looking for a roommate and so wasn't Betty.
I had left foster care at 18, and Betty accepted me as a roommate. I did not have much money, I struggled to find jobs, many times I was broke but Betty always gave me her unwavering help.
Finally in the autumn of 1966, I decided to relocate and hopefully find work. Betty, did not want me to leave but for my own self esteem I had to.
Her care, and love will be remembered always.
