Rupert Ellis Dunkum, Jr., 91, of Webster, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Leesburg. Mr. Dunkum moved to Webster from Pinellas County, Fl. in 1988 and was the owner/broker of All American Realty in Webster.
He was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and a life member of the DAV, member of Gideons International and former advisory member of the Lake Sumter Salvation Army.
Since age 12 he was a Bible believing Baptist. He was a former member of First Baptist Church of Lake Panasoffkee, Faith Baptist Church of Webster and a member of First Baptist Church of Webster.
He was predeceased by his wife Catherine, grandson Daniel Ellis Steller and parents Rupert Ellis Dunkum, Sr. and Mary Bibb Dunkum. He is survived by daughters Rhonda D. Steller, Leesburg, Laura D. (Tony) Rooney, Blairsville, Ga. and four grandchildren Joshua Steller, Stephanie, Sarah and Kevin Rooney. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Webster, with Pastor Don Grant officiating. The graveside committal service will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Webster. Visitation will be on Friday, Sept 22, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Purcell Funeral Home, 114 W. Noble Ave., Bushnell. Arrangements entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home, Bushnell.
