Jack W. Spangler, 92, of Bushnell, Fla., passed away at home Sept. 6, 2013, from complications after hip surgery. He was born Sept. 16, 1920, in Williamson, W.Va. Jack resided in Bluefield, W.Va., for many years and worked as an engineer on the Norfolk and Western Railroad. He was also a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora (Babe) Spangler. Survivors include his children, Jill (Dennis) Hutton, Jody (Mackie) Branham and Jan Spangler; nine grandchildren; and 19 great- grandchildren. He will be laid to rest in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
