Timothy J. "Tim" All, age 59 of Sunbury passed away Thursday evening June 16, 2016 at Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born in Columbus on September 4, 1956 to the late James V. and Marie M. (Janotta) All. He was a 1975 graduate of Tinley Park High School in Tinley Park Il. Tim was a supervisor with the US Postal Service at various locations in Columbus and Central Ohio. A member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and Bent Tree Golf Course. Tim was an avid golfer and had golfed most recently 8 days ago. He played keyboards in a band in his younger years and met his wife through the band called the Bridge of Ages in the Chicago area. He was a collector of turtles, stuffed and ceramic, enjoyed watching the Golf Channel and Food Network and loved to turn anything into a debate. Tim was a true family man who loved to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Special memories are of movie nights and vacations in St. Thomas which included some golf time. He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years: Lynn E. (Johnson) All and they were married October 9, 1976 in Country Club Hills, Il, sons: Rich (Annie) All of Marysville, Jim (Jenny) All of Sunbury, Tim (Mandy) All of Terre Haute, IN; daughter: Amy (Bob) Keep of Sunbury; grandchildren: Sammy, Katie, Sydney, Cameron, Isaac, Bea, Noah, Ezra; sister: Jamie Robyn of Granville; wonderful uncle and great uncle. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Anna Guillozet officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunbury Memorial Park. He met Elsa over the Rainbow Bridge and waiting for Emma his canine companions. BERGANDINE, VERNA CUSHMAN  
DELAWARE — Verna Cushman Bergandine, 101, of Sunbury, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 14, 1914 in Woodstock, Ohio to Arthur and Mary Cushman. Verna had a love of art, poetry, skilled in needlework, and painting. She was always there to help others in time of need. She was a longtime member of the Sunbury United Methodist Church. She is survived by daughters, Anne Stockert of Rockwood, Mich., Susan Churchill of Westerville, Ohio, Barbara (Duncan) Whitney of Delaware; sons, John of Harmony, N.C., Charles (Karen) of Ostrander, James (Deb) of Delaware, Robert of Provincetown, Mass., and Jeffrey of Columbus; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 10 siblings, five sisters and five brothers; husband, Frank D. Bergandine (1983); and grandsons, Scott Bergandine (1988) and Christopher O'Bryan (1991). Memorial contributions may be made in honor of her childhood church toward restorations at Woodstock Universalist Church, c/o Woodstock Lions Club, P.O. Box 202, Woodstock, OH 43084. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sunbury United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow visitation at the church on Friday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Sunbury Memorial Park. In charge of arrangements is Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. GANT, BARBARA M.  
COLUMBUS — Barbara M. Gant, 72, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016. Barbara was born in Oak Park, Illinois and grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois, daughter of the late William and Renata Murphy. She graduated from the University of Iowa where she was a cheerleader and a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. Following college, Barbara began working briefly as a Jr. High School English Teacher and then went on to become the first female sales representative with U.S. Steel Corp, Chemical Division. Most recently, Barbara has worked in medical transcriptions with both Med Trans and Mt. Carmel. Barbara was a loving, outgoing, and entertaining woman. She was a member of AA and enjoyed gardening, reading, and helping others. Most of all, Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Roger Gant; daughter, Stefanie (Demian) Phillips; grandson, Liam Michael Phillips; sister, Patricia A. Murphy (James W.) DeArmond; niece, Joy C. DeArmond (Kevin M.) Kennedy and their children, Kaitlyn E. and Christian M. Kennedy; nephew, J. Christopher DeArmond and his son, Ian DeArmond; cousin, Janet H. Weissbrodt (Chuck) Koons; sister-in-law, Jenny (Carlos) Pannell; and numerous nieces and nephews-in-law, extended family, and dear friends. Memorial service to be held at a later date.
