William "Bill" Frederick Wright Sr.

SUNBURY — William "Bill" Frederick Wright Sr., 73, passed away Saturday evening March 8, 2014, at his residence. He was born October 19, 1940, in Columbus to William Floyd Wright and Dorothy (Connelly) Wright. He worked for over 30 years as a plumber and pipe fitter for Local #44 of Columbus retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Sunbury Eagles Lodge #3614 and Sunbury VFW Post #8736. He enjoyed old music, cars and guns.

Left to cherish his memory are sons William Frederick Wright Jr. of Sunbury and James (Lois) Richmond of Los Angeles, California; daughters, Debbie (Dave) Mayhew of Sunbury and Bonnie Lynd of New Albany; 6 grandchildren Hillary Richmond, Maria and Alexandria Mayhew, William F. Wright III, Trinity Lynd, and Zachary Wright; great grandson Kyle Palermini; brothers James (Phoebe) Wright of Key West, Florida and Larry Thompson of Montgomery, Texas; and by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his ex-wife Linda Wright in 2004.

Family and friends are invited and welcome to stop by for a drink and some fun time celebrating Bill's life on Sunday March 23, at 4 p.m. at the VFW Post #8736, 435 McGill Street, Sunbury.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests having a beer on Bill and buying yourself a lottery ticket … Good Luck!
