Paul August, Johnstown, was born in Martonyi, Hungary on January 25, 1923, and took his final flight to his eternal home on October 9, 2013.
Paul was a graduate of The Ohio State University and a World War II Veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corps. He retired as an Industrial Engineer from Rockwell International. He was a charter member of Johnstown Baptist Church, founder of Cardinal Airmotive, and 50-year member of The Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Irene (Schellenger) August, his parents George & Julianna August, his brother George and by an infant sister. He is survived by his daughters: Trude Brinley, Candy (John) Keller-Raber and Tina (Jim) Hildreth; and his sons: Jeffrey P. August, P. Kevin August, Bruce (Linda) Keller and Jeff Keller; as well as by 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren with two additional great-grandchildren expected soon.
Calling hours will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013. at Johnstown Baptist Church on 450 South Main Street, Johnstown, with services scheduled for Saturday, October 19, at 10 a.m. at the Johnstown Baptist Church.
