January 24, 1938 — May 28, 2014
Alice Rhea Van Dyke, 76, Sunbury, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at her son's residence. She was born January 24, 1938, in Richlands, Virginia, to the late Edwin Wiley and Mabel Irene (Combs) Clarke.

She is also survived by her loving husband of nearly 55 years, Ed Van Dyke, Sr. of Sunbury; son, Richard (Tina) Van Dyke of Centerburg; grandchildren: Ashley, Shaun, Erin, Ainee, Ethan, Evan and Alyssa Van Dyke; sisters, Lynnda Clarke Henderson of Kingsport, Tennessee; Gail Clarke Cave of Bushnell, Florida; as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Edgar L. "Eddie" Van Dyke Jr.
