Mary T. Blackledge, age 84, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Gulfport.
She was born in Petal and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1952.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gulfport and WMU where she was a former president. She was also a Sunday School Teacher for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rothell Blackledge; a sister, Frances McFarland; and a brother, John Tolar.
Mrs. Blackledge is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Blackledge and Rachael Grayson (Dave) all of Gulfport; a brother, Clifford Tolar of Riverside, CA; and two grandchildren, Jeff Harrison and Michal Thornton.
The funeral service will be Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
The family prefers memorials to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 12190 Highway 605, Gulfport, MS 39503.

Bonnie sorry to read about your mom. I do remember some things about her and playing yatzee at the dinning room table. As I remember she was a good lady and very well liked. I just know she is with the Lord and enjoying every minute. Mike Pyle
