MILLER, Robert G. - 82, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on November 17, 2012. Born in Paterson, he lived in North Haledon and Anderson, South Carolina before moving to Florida 20 years ago. He served in the United States Army and prior to his retirement in 1992 he was a Mechanical Engineer with the Greenville Hospital in Greenville, SC. He formerly worked for Schmidt Laboratories in South Carolina and Little Falls, New Jersey. Previously, he owned and operated American Home Plumbing and Heating in North Haledon.

He was a member of the Elks, the American Legion, the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club and the Punta Gorda Yacht Club.

Beloved husband of Theresa Miller (nee Alexander).

Devoted father of Robert Miller of Massachusetts, Patricia Duncan and her husband James of South Carolina, Scott Miller of Haledon and Cynthia Restrepo of New Mexico.

Loving grandfather of Kelly, Matthew, Alexander and Rebecca.

Dear brother of Donald Miller of Pennsylvania.

Funeral Services Saturday 9:00 am at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park.

Interment Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.

The family will receive family and friends Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
